Message from Debbie Cooper, Chair Charlesworth Parish Council
In view of the current situation with the coronavirus the Parish Council Meeting on Wednesday 18th March will take place at the normal time with the following changes.
If Councillors feel vulnerable or live with vulnerable family members it is absolutely acceptable for them to miss the meeting and their agenda items will still be covered for them if they wish. Please send an email to the Clerk covering the points they wish to be discussed.
Likewise if any member of the public has an issue they wish to raise, the same considerations can be given to them. They can contact the Clerk or a Councillor with their issue and will receive a personal reply after the meeting.
Everybody in attendance must wash their hands on entering the meeting and be considerate of personal space.
I believe this situation will get worse before it gets better and we need to be mindful of our vulnerable members of our community, we will be discussing this alongside our other agenda items. I'm sure you will agree that the normal day to day routine will be changing for many people during the next few weeks. Let's take this opportunity to meet whilst we can, until we hear otherwise through the Government or DALC.
